Ray Brandt is a native New Orleanian, is an honor graduate of St. Aloysius. Ray earned three degrees from Loyola University, BBA, MBA and JD. He is a licensed attorney and a licensed CPA. Ray was twice past Chairman of the Nissan National Dealer Council, he is currently serving his third term as Chairman of the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission. He was recently named Louisiana Dealer of the Year. Ray has also received numerous citizen and civic awards including the UNO Hall of Distinction, Jr Achievement Award, Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame, Deus Provedebit Catholic Award .and an Honorary PHD from Holy Cross University.
The Ray Brandt Automotive group presents a diverse selection of automobile manufacturers and have received numerous awards. Since establishing Ray Brandt Nissan in 1983, President and CEO, Ray has expanded his automotive group to include Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Ram, Fiat, Toyota, Infiniti, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Volkswagon, Kia, Hyundai, Mitsubishi.
Ray and his wife Jessica created a family foundation to aid in the education of the under- privileged of the community and to support many organizations that promote better education throughout the community. They also support various organizations that promote research to help stamp out many diseases that plague our nation. The foundation also supports Military and Museums that honor our veterans.
