It’s time for the 2018 Cataouatche District Awards and Recognition Banquet! The fun-filled evening will start with an excellent dinner followed by an awards presentation. The banquet will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 465 Avenue B, Westwego, LA 70094. Dinner will start at 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 6:00pm. We ask that everyone wear your Class A uniforms for the evening. The cost of the banquet is $15.00 per person. The Arrow of Light and Eagle Scout Class of 2017 will attend free, but any family and friends attending will need to pay. Registration is online only. Please purchase your tickets by Tuesday, February 28, 2018.

Some of the awards available are:

Cub Scout:

Den Leader Awards, Scouter’s Training Award for Cub Scouting, Cubmaster’s Key, Veteran Status Pin, National Den Award, National Summertime Pack Award, Unit Leader Award of Merit (new), 2017 JTE Unit Award, and the District Award of Merit.

Boy Scout:

Unit Leader Award of Merit, Scoutmaster’s Key Award, Scouter’s Training Award for Boy Scouting, BSA National Outdoor Challenge Award, Veteran Status Pin, 2017 JTE Unit Award, and the District Award of Merit.

Venturing/Sea Scouts:

Venturing Advisor Award of Merit, Unit Leader Award of Merit, Sea Scout Adult Training Awards – Skipper’s Key, Veteran Status Pin, 2017 JTE Unit Award, and the District Award of Merit.

We ask that you have at least one member of your unit present to receive your unit awards, and we also ask that each person that applies for an individual award is present to receive their award. Please return the award applications to the Council office by Friday, February 10, 2018. We will also be honoring Cataouatche District’s Arrow of Light and Eagle Scout Class of 2017. Cancellation Policy
It is the policy of the Southeast Louisiana Council, that all fees are transferable but not refundable. However, refunds may be requested in writing, two weeks prior to the event for unforeseen circumstances. Once food has been purchased there will be no refunds allowed.
